Fall Love

It is officially my favorite time of year! I love this beautiful cool weather and the crisp smell in the air. We actually lit a fire for the first time on Tuesday night while I crafted and Seth edited pictures. It was a lovely night to say the least. One thing that is different about this particular fall is the impact it is having on my life. I can't pin point what it is but I feel like I am at such an inspiring time in my life. I love it. I just want to make things and be creative. I have discovered this love for makeup and art that I never knew I had. I have practically been breathing makeup, and my friends have been very sweet in allowing me to use their faces and hair; sometimes making them look pretty crazy.

Another blessing this year is Seth's love for photography. He is constantly studying it these days, and I must say he is really good! I love working with him to create beautiful things. God knew what he was doing when he put us together. We don't have everything figured out, but little by little God is revealing his amazing plan to both of us!

Too Cool For the Pool

Summer is in full swing and it is only getting hotter from here on out. Most of you are visiting the lake and or pool at least once a week, and that can be harsh on everything from your hair and skin, to your self esteem. Everyone handles it differently, some people believe in the bare minimum and some people believe in going all out. ( full makeup, hair, and a tiny bikini ) I like to think that I am somewhere in between. I want to keep up with the trends, and have healthy-looking skin; but I also want to look natural and low-maintenance. Here are some of my summer favorites thus far:

For real this time.....

Ok, I am giving this blog one more shot! I guess I wasn't ready when I first joined, but now I am, so I deleted all my old posts and I am essentially "revamping". I feel like my life is a constant whirlwind of crazy, but in an awesome way, so here is a quick update to cath you up. I work at Lucy Pop Salon in Nashille. I couldn't have asked to be at be at a better place, or to work with better people. It is definitely a gift from God! The love of my life is a musician, and although that can definitely put strain on a marriage, we make it work. I feel like we started out two pieces of a puzzle and we are slowly becoming a masterpiece as we grow and learn together. For the most part, our lives consist of music, photography, hair, make up, fashion, and a willingness to live out God's plan for us. This blog is going to be a small window into our life together. I can't wait to get started!
